Java Word to PDF Document Conversion by Qoppa Software

Qoppa Software, a leading provider of PDF solutions, today announces beta testing of their Word to PDF document conversion engine.

Qoppa has released a Java library version for integration into 3rd party systems, and will integrate this conversion functionality into their existing applications, PDF Studio and PDF Automation Server.

“When compared to other products, the advantage of Qoppa’s conversion engine is that it doesn’t require any third party software to run. Other products require Ghostcript, the Open Office server, or MS Word to interpret Word documents. Additionally, Qoppa’s library is small and 100% Java so it runs on all platforms, including Windows, Linux, Solaris and Mac.“ says Gerald Holmann, President of Qoppa Software.

jWordConvert™ currently supports converting Word documents to PDF documents. As a natural progression, the engine is slated to support converting Word to images as well as directly printing Word documents in the upcoming version.

For more information or to volunteer to join this test, visit Qoppa’s website or email them at info@qoppa.com.
